It’s recommended to leave the default
settings unless you have a specific problem.
To change your connection settings:
- Select Settings from the ooVoo menu. Select .
- If you have a conflict with another application using port 443, then uncheck the option.
- If you do not want to use the default automatic proxy detection, then select the type of proxy using the scroll-down arrow. The relevant fields will be enabled in order to enter the details.
- Click Save. You will need to exit ooVoo and login again. The changes will take effect the next time you login.
To exit ooVoo, right-click on the ooVoo icon located in your task bar next to the clock and select from the drop-down menu.
To get technical support:
At ooVoo we offer customer support free of charge to all ooVoo users (subscribed users receive priority customer service), so let us know about any issues you're having.
- Select Settings from the ooVoo menu. Select and select .
- Click the link to go to our support center. From the main support page on the ooVoo website you can open a support request or view knowledgebase articles.
In some cases it can be helpful to send logs files if there is a technical issue.
- To send logs to the support team, click Send. Your logs are sent to the ooVoo support team. If you would like an answer, you will need to open a support request and mention that you sent logs.
To enable log files (if disabled):
- Select Settings from the ooVoo menu. Select and select .
- Check the . The application will start creating log files which can help technical support representatives find the type of problems you may experience when using ooVoo.
- Exit the ooVoo application in order for this change to take effect and then log into ooVoo again.
To exit ooVoo, right-click on the ooVoo icon located in your task bar next to the clock and select from the drop-down menu.
To open the folder where logs are stored:
- Select Settings from the ooVoo menu. Select and select .
- To open the folder where the log files are stored, click Open log files folder.
